A picnic-table viewpoint at 1,620 m looking back at the central peaks.
At the eastern edge of Paúl da Serra, Bica da Cana looks across the head of the Ribeira Brava valley to Pico Grande and the central massif. It is a short walk from the car park and one of the best cloud-inversion spots in the west.
Two viewpoints, one stop
From the car park a level path leads a few minutes to the main balcony. A rougher path continues to the Miradouro do Pináculo, which sits on the rim and gives a cleaner line to the peaks.
There is a picnic area with tables and a forestry house. Nothing is sold here — bring what you need.
